The Value of Specialist Veterinary Care
A specialist veterinary surgeon has completed a residency training program under guidance from other specialist surgeons, completed relevant, peer-reviewed research and passed a rigorous series of board-certifying examinations. This residency program is completed in addition to a university veterinary degree. Specialist surgeons are registered with a governing certifying body. At Animal Orthopaedic Specialists, our registered surgeons have obtained American, European and Australian board certification.
