Your Pet’s Care: From Appointment to Aftercare

Once a referral is initiated, your primary care vet will furnish us with your pet’s comprehensive medical history, allowing us to tailor our approach to their specific needs. Once an appointment is scheduled, your primary care vet will also engage in a conversation with you about potential solutions.

Arrival and Reception

On arrival, you’ll be greeted by our welcoming receptionists who will guide you to our reception area. To ensure you and your pet are comfortable while you wait for your consultation, please help yourself to the refreshment facilities.

The Consultation Experience

Your appointed clinician will conduct a thorough examination of your pet, engaging in an open and collaborative discussion about their findings. They’ll present their recommendations, and together you will chart the most suitable course of action for your pet’s well-being.

Admission Process

If further investigation or treatment is required, your pet will be scheduled for a procedure on an agreed date. On the day, a dedicated prep nurse will be assigned to your pet, providing constant companionship and care throughout.

Many of our admitted patients undergo various imaging procedures, such as radiography or CT scans. This cutting-edge imaging technology aids in precise and prompt diagnosis of routine or critical conditions, preventing the need for exploratory surgery. This translates to enhanced treatment accuracy and quicker intervention.

State-of-the-Art Theatre

Our well-equipped theatres are fitted with contemporary monitoring apparatus, as well as advanced cameras and arthroscopy equipment. These instruments enable minimally invasive procedures, granting us the ability to directly visualise the interior of the patient’s body. This contributes significantly to swifter recovery periods.

Postoperative Care and Accommodation

Following surgery and initial recovery, some clients opt for extended aftercare for their pets. While we highly encourage families to be present during this crucial recovery phase, we understand that circumstances may warrant extended care due to travel or other commitments. In such cases, your specialist can suggest suitable facilities for your pet’s continued comfort and recovery.
